You could see this coming right out the gate. He was either grooving fastballs in the middle or flinging them well off the plate and his off speed isn't landing anywhere close.

It is almost certainly that. He needs to get his arse into the right offseason conditioning program so he can start 30 games without slipping in the future. He's not a tree trunk baw like Framber so he needs to strengthen his lower half (and not ask Bregman for advice on that).
