Ed Wade says hes got some great trade options with the Phillies for Yordan, Framber and Tucker.

Would be awesome if we could find a way to overpay for the modern versions of Carlos Lee, Miguel Tejada and Jason Jennings.

Did I hear it correctly that Espada is staying because he didnt get another job? Are there no more manager openings?

Baker reportedly said in the news conference they’re trying to bring back Espada. All the manager’s jobs are filled. Baker said he’d like to have the coaching staff back and they’re “in discussions.”

I guess Dusty's one year deal is a little nod to Espada as a manager in waiting. Hopefully he sees it the same way.

I decided to rewatch the 6th inning of Game 6 again tonight
For some reason, I always look for Bags and Biggio during games and after
I think it’s interesting to note that on Yed’s HR and Vasquez’s RBI single that Bagwell and his wife were standing, whereas Biggio and his wife were sitting
Biggio looked nervous and stared intently.
I only mention this out of superstition. Baker going to the camera well side and Bags and Biggio positioned correctly may be unbeatable. LOL

It never gets old to me that those two genuinely care about the team winning.

In a year where the talent level in the Arizona Fall League is generally considered to be down, Astros infielder Will Wagner is increasingly standing out as a prospect to watch.
Wagner, the son of long-time closer Billy Wagner, went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs to lead Surprise to a 9-4 win over Scottsdale on Tuesday night. The 24-year-old is now batting .346 with a 1.145 OPS—the second highest OPS in the league—and is posting some of the league’s highest exit velocities in what is quickly becoming a breakout AFL campaign.
