I remember his start against the Angels in April where I think he struck out 10.
His stuff just plays wherever they slot him.
Except when he gets fastball happy against Dansby Swanson with a 1 run lead in game 4 of the World Series

Tatis out again due to a fractured wrist. Out up to 3 months. How many times now has this been so far into his 14 year contract?
Point being, signing these players to long term contracts is insane.

Finding names to add to that list goes on and on and on
It's incredibly difficult to find the player that received the mega-contract that resulted in the team winning a championship
And even if you were able to find one, it is likely that player did it with a different team, where the original team had to eat most of the contract

Rosenthal had an article on the Athletic yesterday that was basically wish-casting a 1-year $45 million deal for Correa

Verlander too, 2017 doesn't really count because we got him so late
But he has been on the books for 2 WS and 4 ALCS
god damn we are never getting a run like this again
pitchers are worth the mega contracts a lot more often than position players

That 2019 WS is going to hurt forever!

Verlander was not a mega deal
He's been on 2 year deals
Detroit ate most of his contract

Here’s what Carlos Correa would look like in an Astros uniform:

Don't believe anything you see or hear until Ghost of Taubman confirms it.

Twitter hasn't been the same for baseball news since they shut down MLB Insider Dixie Normus.

So, now that LMJ has admitted that he should not have thrown 2 days early in the post season, do we finally add another “Ruined a pitcher” feather to FODB’s “My legacy is destroying Aces” cal?

Fireable offense IMO.

By the sounds of Lance's tweets it doesn't sound like he's pitching any time soon.
