Want to keep YTTV but if this is going to be drawn out for several more weeks then I’m gonna cancel and go with DirecTV stream.
I got hulu live trial
Its garbage
Cancelled and will just do sling 1 day pass on saturdays until YTtv is back

Are they even close on this? I pay $110 for YTV and I can’t watch what I want $20 is a small insignificant price for them
I may see if Spectrum or Direct streams. I have Spectrum internet

This goes back to the whole ticket master/live nation merger.

disney earnings call is tomorrow. some have theorized we might see a deal before then. if not, i'd say we are toast for this weekend.

If I subscribe to sling. It does NOT come with ABC. Will I be able to get the games that come on ABC through the ESPN app?
Posted on 11/12/25 at 11:30 am to fballfan2
should be available on espn 3.

I'm switch to Direct streaming if a deal isn't reached by this weekend.

ABC is free over the air. You can watch it on your TV with a $15-$20 antenna.

So, it's basically YTTV telling Disney that the ESPN channels and ABC channels matter while they don't want to pay shite for the rest of the garbage legacy cable channels.
Meanwhile, Disney is forcing those virtually worthless channels on them as a bundle.
Hold the line, YTTV.

No doubt. I'd pay the exact thing I'm paying now to get ESPN/ABC back without any of that other shite.

They’ll never do that. There is no true a la carte

However, Disney cannot afford to keep those channels going without the ads running on them being available and seen in as many places as possible.

Disney had their earnings call this morning and they said they didn’t have a timetable for a resolution with YouTube TV.
Posted on 11/13/25 at 8:07 am to Jwho77
quote:you say that. But as things stand users have substitutes for YouTube TV, they can switch and go watch there. They don't have substitutes for just ESPN.

ESPN thinks enough people will switch/sub to their standalone shite to make up for it. But time will tell.
The "I will just use iptv" plus "I will watch illegally"
crowd still sees those ads.
And we can all agree, percentage wise, that's very small.
So it's gonna be about those who decide to just say frick it.
Ironically as I'm typing this, this chick on the radio is talking about having switched to fubo TV and hating their interface.
