We have seen Mayfield and Goff have a bit of redemption, and now Darnold will be advancing. I don’t have any specific reason to like these guys, but in the era where GM’s gravitate to the newest flavor of the month, I find it amusing to see a guy that sucked with the Jets will be playing to go to the Super Bowl.

Mac Jones and Willis will be the next two teams are after. It was the natural progression when you have pretty average starters making 50 million a year and it’s almost impossible to draft a decent prospect outside the top 10. Still very cool to see and it speaks to how important continued development is at the position, even for a qb in his mid to late 20s

Mac showed with a supporting cast he can absolutely get it done.

Mac's issue is he's a game manager at best, prime Alex Smith.

But the way qb development has been in the league - that's not a bad thing.

Coaching was important too...BB had a def coach coaching Mac. Brilliant, think Kraft knew it was time after that.

There aren't many QB right now that can simply take over a game like the ones we grew up with.

Maholmes may be the exception and this year even he was human. They're ALL game managers.

I just think the switch from college offense to a lot of pro ones and leading a group of 50 something grown arse alpha male barbarians probably isn’t always the easiest thing for a 21 year old.

But even he had success when he was with a coach that was worth a shite.
