You told me in 2011 it’s all about the best loss

That was different according to them. Whatever rules help certain teams are fine for them until they aren’t fine for them and then the other rules matter.

A 3 loss team should NEVER be in the playoff. Unless nobody has less than 2 losses.

No they played an extra game. If they lose and don't make it and same situation happens next year a Team in Alabama's position will just not go to the SECCG

Auburn and UGA played an extra game, lost, and was left out

The SEC Champ game is still going

If Alabama loses 35-10 they aren't in "no matter what ".

These games need to go away. The only team playing today that can play their way in is BYU. Everyone else is just risking injury or losing ground in the rankings.

this

if the top 4 conference champs don't get the bye than the conference championships are pointless.

So you're suggestion is to put the team behind them with two losses that sat on their arse today and didn't have to play a top 5 team?

Absolutely!

They're in unless they get blown out. Every single talking head has already said this.

They're looking like they are going to test the blowout theory.

It's also pretty funny hearing Bama fans whining about a team staying home and having an advantage over them having to play the SECCG. I'm remembering a certain team who got beat at their house and then got to sit on their couches eating bon bons while the best team had to play an additional game. That losing team not only didn't win the SEC, but they didn't even win their division. Hmmm.

ETA: frick Bama forever. I hope they get stomped today and get left out.

Bama in. Committee wasn't going to bounce a team from in the bracket to out of the bracket for losing an extra game.

BYU was not in the bracket. Don't understand why people keep parroting this point.

If it was literally any other SEC team, they would've.
