Love when the playoffs roll around and people that don't watch the NBA make statements like this when a player has a good game

That's because Greek can't shoot for shite

You do realize that Harden averaged 11.2 assist this season, right? The entire offense of Houston relies on his playmaking. Whether that is do to his scoring or passing.

Recency bias. How quick have we forgotten how amazing Lowry has been for two seasons (albeit his playoff struggles).

My current top 5 is Westbrook, Curry, Kyrie, Thomas, and Wall. CP3 and Lillard are not far behind

I'd have CP3 instead of Thomas, though Thomas is definitely climbing the charts quickly... but other than that, very good list

Cp3 is still one of the best players in the league, easily top 5 pg.

His numbers don't lie, issue is recent health.

Probably arguable, but not clear IMO.

No particular order:

Westbrook
Harden
CP3
Curry

Those 4 alone are basically inarguably top 4 IMO. Then you got IT4, Wall, Kyrie, Lillard...may be missing 1 more?

I watch the NBA and have been on the Wall bandwagon for awhile

Would you make an argument that he's not an elite PG?

Even after he came back his play continued.

We bring up Westbrook/harden on/off then bring up Lebrons to argue mvp.

Cp3 has an on/off of +19.6. That's mvp tier

I'd take CP3 over Thomas 100 out of 100 times. Thomas' defense is trash. Good offensive player though.

I would agree with all of this, but I think you could round out your top 5 with Lowry. This is based off of his play the past two seasons.

Today's crop of NBA players make that a tough question. Him and a couple of other guys have numbers that are arguably elite, but some of those guys are probably the 7th and 8th best PGs, which is usually not considered elite I'd guess.

All of this is true and CP3 is just better than him at it.

I'd assume most would, there's a decent margin between the 2.
