Notice some of the C/DIV V have "def" instead of "vs or @." They've already played their quarterfinal game and thus some of the teams listed have been eliminated already!

Holy shite....I knew the split was bad for football...I didn't know how bad it actually was for other sports until I just looked at those brackets....Jesus Christ!

The Texas officials association (TASO, I believe) is a lot better about communication with their members. About the only communication that I've seen from the LHSOA is regarding changing the logo a few years ago, then pretty much nothing except for promoting the summer conference that is little more than a money grab.

South Lafourche takes game 1 over West Ouachita 3-1 in a pitching battle between future college pitchers Ougel and Honeycutt.
SL was able to get out of a couple of jams with double plays in the 1st and 7th innings.
Both teams committed errors but West Ouachita's were more costly.
Game 2 at Noon tomorrow.
