They lost to sulphur 2006
Acadiana in 2007
and Destrehan in 2008?

And just in the lafayette area you have Acadiana and STM, which will be alot tougher than any team they've played from up north.

Do we need to list the number of teams in SouLA, WM has crushed over the years?

2006 2007 WM had 15 turnovers combined and lost by 13 points total. 2008 Destrehan scored when the wr pushed the db down with 2 hands in his chest and a pick 6 in the endzone after tackling the wr. Honestly if Turner stays healthy, WM will win with ease. If Turner gets hurt, STM wins state. Acadiana got the shite beat out of them by STM already. Their offense is the worst possible offense to run against WM. Byrd tried to run the option tonight and had about 20 yards until the starters came out. You're not going to beat WM running the ball.

No one is going to beat WM. Having seen most of the area teams down here I just dont see it happening, but I guess we will see in December

BTW, Shows told the boosters today WM will play ESJ, Curtis, St. Paul's, an Arkansas power, next year and someone from Calvary on WM's site posted that they might announce a game with WM. Yeah WM sounds very scared of South LA teams.

I'm not saying WM is scared of anyone, but there is no doubt most North Louisiana teams are scared of WM and they play like it. They come to the games ready to go home, and I don't think the South Louisiana teams who aren't pounded every year by WM come with the same attitude.

I don't know about most teams, but I bet Dale Weiner turns into Coach Klein when he sees West Monroe in his side of the bracket...high heels and all.
