Barbe vs Sam Houston is going to be a zoo. That place isn’t big enough

They ought to let Barbe/Sam Houston play at Mcnesse or Ull. Anyone know what the pitching matchup will be and who does everyone like? This is high school baseball at the highest level.

Place will be packed for sure. Both 4a teams travel well and then Barbe Sam Houston.

Rummel may have been hot, but remember, they haven't played a game in 2 weeks. Baseball is a game of "streaks". This playoff schedule is crappy. The top teams have to sit for too long.

There are a lot of good match ups for the finals. I feel like 3A-5A and Div 1 & 2 are all really good matchups.
It sucks that we can't get those teams matched up against each other in the playoffs.
5A baseball playoffs (pretty much every round) in Louisiana pre-split always had great matchups. It sucks to not see that anymore.

I would imagine Walker will take the mound for Barbe

Anyone know how that kid who transferred from Captain Shreve to Sam Houston has done this year? Looks like he made the correct decision

Brother Martin had bases loaded with no outs in bottom of 7th. Sophomore and LSU commit Connor Simon strikes out 3 in a row to win it.
The Advocate article doesn't make it seem like it happened this way?
Posted on 5/13/19 at 1:48 pm to Stevo
Link it because that is what happened. I listened to it.
“Meanwhile, all Scherer could do is watch from third base, knowing one more basehit likely would end his prep career. Then Simon transformed back into Kid K, striking out Ethan Moser and Cole Stromboe looking and Blake Bufkin swinging.”

And the Advocate article says exactly the same thing
“Trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh, the Crusaders (26-6) loaded the bases with no outs before St. Paul's Conner Simon converted three straight strikeouts to end the game.”

Northside Christian beats Runnels 2-1... Runnels' last batter had his bat come apart on 2nd strike....
