The Acadian area has a bit of talent in it. They’re HB - if he gets going downhill he is a load. Their QB can move and he doesn’t have crazy arm talent or anything but he isn’t terrible. Their special teams are not good. At all. Lots of big kids along each front.

Central's schedule was not brutal. They had some easier games for sure; but that schedule had already been made few years ago before Simoneaux took over.
What got them "" BATTLE TESTED""" was playing CATHOLIC HS & Zachary BACK to Back Weeks taking them BOTH Tooth n Nail! When that Central team shows up they can hang w ANYBODY! Tho the injuries are starting to add up.
Central can not be over rated if they Beat Neville in Monroe last night! Check yourself before you wreck yourself!

I would not say that this is the same Mandeville team.
The new starting QB, while only a sophomore, has been really impressive.
Walker is probably still the better team, but comparing a team at the end of the season to the beginning, especially after changing QB, doesn’t make sense to me.

Mandeville put up some points early but Walker went on a 40-0 run before they scored again.

The head coach of Acadiana fails to see the entire point of running the veer option offense is that you need the threat of the option to open up the dive. They have won state with comparable sized lines but the difference is they had a qb who could actually run the option. The quarterback can hit the occasional long pass but is too inconsistent to keep drives going and as stated can’t run the option. If they do run the option with him it might be once or twice a game. Whenever Acadiana has won it they’ve won it with a qb who can run.

They are looking at The Willow School depending on when they would play and Willow’s soccer schedule
