Miami taking Mensah might cause enough of an outrage to get the needle moving on changing some things
Mensah was well compensated at Duke and now Miami seems to have more then doubled his NIL and Duke is really in a tough spot now this late in the game with the portal with all the decent QB's gobbled up

People are crying about tampering. You’re stupid if you’re NOT tampering. At the same time, these players' agents are constantly searching around for their clients' best opportunity.
You talk to these players/agents in secret and get the deal done before they “enter” the portal. You don’t want to get in a bidding war in the open market once they take visits everywhere.

We don’t have any proof of Miami doing this right now, only speculation. Even so, if true, it’s one player (not excusing it or saying it’s fine though). LSU/Kiffin have done it with multiple players from multiple schools already so if there is any program that should be quiet in this instance, it’s LSU.
