Cohen will have to spend like this until the farm is good enough sadly. Just not enough cheap young talent for them to rely on

The Met$ will be the first team ever to start the season with a $300M payroll. Cohen is the new Papa Steinbrenner.

And there goes Correa's leverage.

All Astros fans should wish the best for Correa

There really isn’t a negative about him on or off the field, outside of some back issues, and that broken rib from a “massage”

Almost impossible to find a better combination of defense, offense, and leadership. He handled his departure with class.

I’m shocked he’s not a Yankee. He would have been a Met, if not for Lindor beating him there.

Dodgers, Padres and Nats are pursuing Seth Lugo. Likely to be given chance to start (with some flexibility to relieve)

Absolutely wish him the best.

I think at this point he's going to sign with the Giants.

I can forgive Correa. If I could pick one team to lose a WS in heartbreaking fashion only to find out later it was due to cheating, it would still be the Dodgers.

The Yankees are one of many teams known to be interested in lefty Carlos Rodón, but Jon Heyman of The New York Post reports that they would prefer to limit him to a four- or five-year deal. That might be a problem, since Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Rodón is looking for at least seven years. Reporter Marino Pepén says the Red Sox are interested, though the extent of interest isn’t clear.

Way these contracts are going in Judge, Nimmo, Turner, and Xander they might as well give him 10 years

A pitcher with a history of arm troubles that gets hit when his FB decreases by 2 mph wants a 7 year deal

God bless him and the horse he rode in on

I hope the best contender eats that fat contract.
