He's been fine with it so far. Still early, but so far so good.

The Washington #Nationals officially announce their eight-year, $50 million deal for catcher Keibert Ruiz, buying out all of his pre-arbitration and arbitration years, and the first 3 years of free agency, with two club option years, too. He's going to be a Nat for a looong time

Corbin Carroll and D-Backs agree on$111M deal for 8 years with a club option that would bring it to $134M. Could be free agent at 29 or 30. Largest contract ever signed by a player with less than 100 days MLB time.

I wouldn't have predicted Bally Sports Arizona at the top.

Many retirees and elderlies are living in that area.

But I doubt they're watching the Diamondbacks. And by that logic, Bally Sports Florida should be at near the top too. But it isn't.

If a MLB team wanted him later this year, I presume he could easily get out of this contract to come back?

You know they’re playing right now? He’s had no issue so far.

Diamond Sports Group, the corporation that owns 14 Bally Sports regional sports networks, is expected to file for bankruptcy March 17, according to a report from Josh Kosman of The New York Post. The timeline will be awkward for Major League Baseball since the 2023 season opens on March 30, but the league plans to step in and broadcast the games themselves.

In other words, blackouts coming.

No, that is basically the exact opposite of what Manfred said.

He wants to do away w/the stupid blackout rule.

I hate my life as a Rockies fan

When spring training started, Wacha, Bauer, Gary Sanchez were available to upgrade roster at P and C.

I swear if Cron, Grichuk, Castro, Moustakis, and Profar are on the roster come August when the Rockies are buried in last place a million games out, I will shake my fist at a cloud.

Aren’t you the resident NY Yankees super fan?

We need a 2023 season long thread. Where else can we talk about future hall of famer Volpe and the coming end-of-camp deals?

Feels good not to be a fan of a cheating team.

Just going to say that I personally would never downvote a poster simply for being a fan of a certain team. Just screams loser. Y’all do you, though.

Not gonna go back and forth with this, but Cole is probably one of those that benefitted the most from "sticky stuff", and Marwin Gonzalez undoubtedly benefitted from sign stealing, with the only better example being Evan Gattis
