Nobody crowned them. They conjectured they probably are. We are sports fans and like having opinions and predictions. Using 82 games to make an opinion that the defending champion is more likely than not the best team ever isn't unreasonable.

Golden State is one of the best teams of all time. If they are healthy, they are the clear favorites. They haven't been healthy.

every team last year that went against them was injured or missing key players while their top 9 were all healthy.
