But I also watched the whole US Open when Kaymer won. And most every other week. And am going to 3 events this year.

So, yeah...I like golf.

Not really. Just two different populations. Here, mostly golfers who would watch the tournament regardless who was playing and the general public, many of whom don't give a rip about the sport but would watch if Tiger was playing.

I watch at least a little of most tournaments and I watch nearly all of the important ones: majors, WGC events, FedEx Cup, Ryder Cup, Pres. Cup, etc. Whether Tiger is playing or not isn't the slightest factor in whether I will watch. Same is true of Rory or any other player.

I am a big fan of golf so I watch whether or not he's in it, however I do cheer for him to succeed since he is one of the greatest golfers of all time in his prime and I do like it when he wins.
