Need the Red Sox to salvage this last game of the series.

The Braves and Reds were on ESPN2 that night. But Opening Day used to be quite the celebration with games on both ESPN's all day and night. So I was surprised there was only one game on that night.

I can't watch Yankees vs Red Sox because ESPN. I feel I use to be able to watch the local broadcast when it is on national tv

Major League Baseball ruined opening day. Everything they do is fricking stupid. Used to be one of my favorite things to do was just sitting there on the first day and watching baseball from 11 AM through the rest of the day. Now you’re lucky to get one game on at night and everything remotely close to you blacked out.

Yankees made a huge mistake giving an injury prone player that contract. Even though had he been healthy it would have been a steal.

I'm liking the Kay/Rodriguez alternate telecast on ESPN2. It was interesting listening to Rodriguez relate to Judge's impending free agency. Clemens was on too.

I really dislike the stupid strike zone box over home plate every at bat. It's unnecessary and distracting.

ESPN slowly has televised fewer and fewer games every year. I guess it has something to do with MLB Network, FS1, and TBS showing more games. And they wiped out Baseball Tonight too.

MLB has long suffered with commissioners who appear as complete buffoons. The blackout rules are beyond ridiculous. I used to live in a state that had 6 teams blacked out. It's like the game wants to drive away as many fans as possible with archaic viewing restrictions and dumbass unwritten rules.
