I see a very large political donation coming from a friend of a friend of a friend of DW to that DA in the near future.

Maybe...but I do know DW tried to pay off some of the complainants. There's something there that somehow hasn't risen to the point of prosecution.
But this is typical Cleveland. They could frick up an anvil with a feather. No matter what, this is a cloud above the franchise all year at minimum.
Now just think of how bad this sinks the franchise if this doesn't work out and he has no trade value, and they lose those pics!

Never stop Browns, please never stop being you, LOL

Yes, but only because King only writes once a week. If they both wrote multiple posts daily, it would be a tie.

And all 21 of those claims were presented to a grand jury and they couldn’t even find probable cause for an indictment on any of them. Not beyond a reasonable doubt (criminal) or preponderance of the evidence (civil), but less than what is required for probable cause (the lowest of the three burdens). That’s also considering that grand juries are not bound by normal rules of evidence. They can be presented evidence that might not even be admissible in trial.

Look, I want the guy in jail if he did it. Sexual abuse is serious shite that should be treated as such. But, I can’t ignore the facts. The grand jury couldn’t even find probable cause on any of these cases even with the ability to see evidence that may not even see the light of day at trial. It is what it is.

By your logic, I guess you’ll just start believing the sky is green if people say it’s green. I don’t give a frick what color the sky is, but it’s obviously blue. I can’t change that and it is what it is. Same logic applies here. You might not like it, but the facts are the facts.

Do people not understand that grand jury indictments are much, much easier to get from a than actually going to trial and getting a conviction? If the grand jury didn’t indict him, it’s pretty likely he didn’t do it.

This also should have been obvious when the primary lawyer went to the media first. Always look at what someone is doing and not what they’re saying. He was trying to get a trial by media before putting everything out in the open. This isn’t a new trick and these dipshits fall for it every single time.

100%, all the grand jury needs to find to indict is probable cause. That's a lower standard than even civil proceedings.

So it should have been 22 times easier to establish probable cause by a grand jury, is that what you're saying?

The fact that it's 22 and not 1 and STILL can't be tried kinda makes it even more persuasive that this feels like BS.

How could they have established probable cause though? There’s no DNA evidence like there are in rape cases and there’s no video tape available of the incidents. It’s essentially a “he said, she said”. Considering the fact that there are 22 women with no connection sharing very similar stories about their encounters with Watson, it’s overwhelmingly likely like that he’s guilty.

There’s a leftist talking point on this… basically that no charges doesn’t equal innocent, and that 22 women can’t all be lying.

I want to see the cartoon of the guy agonizing over “believe all women” and “don’t lock up another black man”

For a grand jury to not indict him on ANY of the charges is pretty meaningful. That requires only probable cause, so there must be a complete and total lack of evidence that any of the claims involved non-consensual acts.
