Cause it shows he is overrated. Terrible teams. So he’s rated near the bottom.

You know who else had a short and bad NFL career?

Tebow wasn’t playing junior high defenses in the SEC. hence the point.

Bush and Tebow are top 2 by a pretty wide margin, both being CFB legends.

Most of those other guys are forgettable in time. Ingram or Leinart would maybe be next in line.

This, but I’d put Leinart 3rd.

I don't understand anyone putting Tebow ahead of Bush. Just go back and watch the Fresno highlights the year he won. Tebow was nowhere near that.
Tebow is considerably overrated imo even as a college player. Those teams he was on were something special and hid a lot of his warts. I liked the guy even as an opponent and you can't teach his leadership ability but his greatness is completely a media driven fallacy. He was the perfect media darling.

But why did he suck in the NFL?

Bush certainly didn’t live up to 2nd pick overall standards but he wasn’t complete trash, complete trash doesn’t have 1,000 yard seasons, be named to an All Pro team and last 11 seasons in the NFL

McCoy was probably the favorite to win until he got wrecked by Suh in the B12 championship. I think Suh was the bigger snub that year. He completely dominated every game in 2009. Ingram was a fine pick though.

In retrospect, while Tebow had an amazing career, guys like michael Vick, Vince young, cam Newton and joe burrow were probably better individual players than Tebow.

I don’t think you can say there’s been a running back in the last 20-25 years that’s been better than Bush. Dude was something special.

That hardly detracts from what Tebow accomplished as the starting QB of Florida from 2007-2009.

While Bush and Tebow are the top two, this is the legit bottom three.

The middle parts can be argued over.

I think most people can agree on that.

McFadden in that damn wildcat still gives me nightmares.

Now that you mention him, I'd say his 2007 season was as impressive as all but 3 or so members on the list. Vastly superior to Ingram, for example, given how much his team leaned on him with minimal help.

Heisman is a popularity contest, so it comes down to, who do you want to watch again?

Watching Bush would've been like Red Grange decimatmg Michigan.
