You can't grab and nudge a player midair before he releases the ball to alter the shot after you're beat.

This is where I have just a small amount of sympathy for college refs… reality is the college game is less skilled, more physical, and often times sloppy as frick… and a lot of coaches develop their teams around it. That makes officiating hard as frick.
Reality is the creighton player has his hands on a shooter he’s trailing and he’s pushing him… that’s a foul. Maybe it’s not earlier in the game… but that’s bc everyone is playing aggressive.

It's a foul, I agree, he was hand checking him on the shot and probably threw him off balance, but I'm with Chuck in that you can't make that call at the end of the game like that. You just let it go and let them go into OT and decide it because making that call creates to much controversy like it just did.

Yep.
The contact hindered the shot, therefore it's a foul. It took balls to call it at that point in the game but it was absolutely the correct call.

It reminds me a lot of the Super Bowl
It sucked that the game came down to a holding penalty to ice it. No one would have cared if that call was made in the 2nd quarter.
It was a clean game all night and it just ducked to see an all time great game end on that call in the Super Bowl

Stupid over the backboard rule..I get an inbounding player shouldn't be able to shoot it in...but if a player in play can make it..that should count...BS Rule..it was 50/50 on the spot as the rule..ref can get bent..that should ve counted
