How many QBs said no?

The Pro Bowl officially means nothing now.
This is the most participation trophy crap ever. I mean Congrats Shedeur on one of the worst seasons in the history for a qb and your award for sucking is going to the pro bowl which used to be prestigious but now it is confirmed to be a joke.

Enter everybody meme. I realize this is from a joke meme site, but lays out the path to how Sanders could get the call

That image has some terrible AI lol. They still have Rodgers next to a Jets logo

When did it EVER mean anything?

It does, it also lists players that are still expected to play in the game. But it does lay out the path
Was a little surprised they didn't take the opportunity to take another shot at Tua, Geno, and/or Fields

Maybe they all said no? No one is thrilled about playing in this useless POS game that needs to die. I can see Sanders though jumping up and down with his hand raised. But I don’t think there was any grand conspiracy to put him in.

Matt Stafford just made only his third Pro Bowl in his 17th season.
Stafford in 2021 threw for 4886 yards and 41 TDs and didn't get a pro bowl nod. Make it make sense.

The other alternatives said no or are hurt.

I get that, but Joe Flacco played the same amount of games, has 1,000 more yards and twice as many TDs and the same interceptions. Why not ask him?
Hell, Sanders has the lowest QB Rating in the AFC other than third stringers that only appeared in a couple games. Aiden O'Connell, Brady Cook, Trey Lance and Brandon Allen are the only guys that have worse ratings.

They should do more like the old skills competitions.
They should make it like American Gladiators where the QBs are up high and the running backs and wide receivers are trying to run and dive behind walls and barricades to avoid getting beamed.
Throw the offensive linemen and defensive lineman on the beam with those soft beater sticks to knock each other off.
I would watch an American Gladiator style NFL weekend with great enjoyment.

Who knows?
I just found an interview with Shannon Sharpe who said nobody wants to play in the Pro Bowl anymore because it’s not like the days when you got to bring your entire family for a week in Hawaii, and the players took it seriously and really competed.
Here’s what no one has mentioned, the damn thing is a skills competition capped by a 7 on 7 flag football game now.

Pick 6 on his first drive. Can’t make this shite up

The Browns have a All Pro Quarter Back at their disposal and the coaches still couldn't get over the playoff line.
