Jesus Christ what a game. I had UCLA playing Bama in the title game, so frick me, but damn that was a ride!

Ngl, glad Timme didn't end his illustrious career on those two missed free throws.

UCLA was dumb letting Gonzaga bring the ball up court w/o pressure.

The dude made a 35 footer. Hard to complain about the defense against that.

I mean honestly, the epic 2006 sweet 16 comeback by UCLA. The classic overtime game in the final four two years ago. And now tonight, these two need to play in the tournament more often.

Their strategy of fouling right away was working. Worst case, it would have been 2 points made on the last trip down instead of 3.

I don't get it at all!

My bracket would’ve been in the 99 percentile if UCLA had won. 94.5 as is.

Normally I agree without second thought but with the way Gonzaga was shooting free throws I would’ve contemplated it honestly. Not saying I do it but it’s a thought.

No coach would foul up 1. Ever.

Fuuuck LSU goes to the national championship game in 2006 if they get Memphis or Gonzaga in the final four.

Considering what was happening to Gonzaga at the free throw line and 10-11 seconds left, I'd say that was less risk.

If the possession would have started with 5 seconds left, then no.

You can’t foul but UCLA’s press was giving Gonzaga fits. You at least make them work to get the ball up court and use up some clock. They backed off and let Gonzaga dictate.

Sallis shoots 80% from the line. I don’t think you’re using your brain and sound logic

This is certainly debatable. But he hit one practically from the logo. Not much you can do

No way, you let your defense try and make a stop, and you let them take a 26 foot shot all day.

Where are ChalmetteOwl and our resident UCLA poster who keep telling us that Gonzaga doesn’t play anyone and is overrated.
