I don't understand why you keep trying to argue career. It's clearly not what Slow is discussing, or at least attempting to discuss. You're above your paygrade Alex

Tebow's 2007 season is statistically superior to VY's 2005 season. He was a better passer in 2007 and 2008 than VY was in 2005.

he had better stats due to system, and vince was a better rusher

vince didn't have a harvin

tebow's prodcution has gone down without harvin

Due to being a better thrower. Tebow threw more TDs, less INTs, had a higher completion %, higher YPA, and a higher rating. Statistically superior in every category. Systems shouldn't result in Tebow having a higher YPA and VY having more INTs.

vince didn't have a harvin

VY had:

4 guys rush for 8+ TDs, including guys like Jamaal Charles and Ramonce Taylor
3 OL that were 1st Team All-Big12

He had a stacked offense, while Tebow had a fellow sophomore in Harvin who had 4 receiving TDs and 6 rushing TDs. It's not like Harvin paved the way for Tebow statistically in 2007.

tebow's prodcution has gone down without harvin

Without Harvin and Murphy, his two best WRs. When do players improve statistically without their top two WRs? He has attempted 130 less passes so far due to injury, conservative offense, and lack of playing time. His numbers are almost identical, just less throws = less production.

Tebow had 3,000+ passing and just short of 900 rushing while scoring 55 fricking TDs in the SEC.

I did read your posts, and it was obvious that you're too stupid to understand what Slow is talking about

I never search any archives on ESPN. I haven't even read a Hollinger article this season. I know it may seem surprising to someone as intellectualy limited as yourself, but some of us actually remember things after reading them once

Without question!! His game against USC in 2005 is the reason.

lolmg

yeah being a goaline FB really makes the CFB fan in me bust a nut

tebow played just about every snap as a serious QBthat year b/c UF had to play him all game

vince was benched or playing handoff in almost every 4th quarter in 2005. if he could have played every down in 2005 he'd be more like 4000/1500

This is extremely, unlikely. TCU would have to pass UT in the BCS, with Texas getting an extra game, that's virtually impossible.

It's pretty hard to make that argument, really.

Considering VY had only 1 good passing season, and Tebow's 2008 AND 2007 numbers are both better than VY's best year.

Take career passing numbers, and there is zero argument.

neither were great

Maybe we're arguing 2 different things when you say Tebow isn't a great passer. Sure, the system sure does help, but in terms of production, Tebow has been a ridiculously good passer, 98 TDs and 20 INTs.

How would that happen?

The only way (seriously, the only way) I could see this is if there was some epically bad call (i.e. the 5th down) that gave UT the win, and the voters still treated it like a loss. That's the only way.

I don't think Florida would really struggle against Texas. Colt McCoy is good, but Tebow can counter anything McCoy can do in the air and on the ground.
