Ya I agree and certainly wouldn’t suggest that every play all game should be looked at. But at the same time, there’s zero reason that “sorry that just isn’t a reviewable play” should be a valid excuse for a bad call to impact the outcome of the game. It would have been so easy to review that PI call and pick up the flag, the league just continues to refuse to do it, and I feel like at this point the motive is sinister

For as bad as cfb officiating often is, it’s still a more entertaining product than the NFL.

Well, what do you expect? The NFL is rigged. Why do you think the NFL argued in court that it was entertainment just like WWE and the court agreed and ruled as such. You are basically watching wrestling

Outside of my teams, I've cut back on my NFL consumption.

Ever since the mo call it seems like the officiating has gotten worse and worse.

Got to make sure the “right” team wins. The NFL is so rigged, you can almost predict the PI call at critical times - when the game is on the line.

Honestly at this point you just have to expect cheating is going on in the NFL and college football. There was a call in the Florida/ole miss game where Pass interference was called and then the flag was picked up. The broadcast looks at the replay and it was definitely pass interference and even the broadcast team was like why was the call not upheld. I think all this betting on sports has definitely influenced the leagues into allowing cheating.

One of my favorite things about NOT watching the NFL is waking up to the "OMG look what happened in these NFL games yesterday.....but we swear it isn't rigged" threads.

What is it going to take to convince the true believers that what their eyes are seeing is real? LOL

The NFL has been rigging games blatantly for decades now.

I still watch the SEC on Saturdays but I know that is rigged too. Had this been an SEC game and a bad call was made against Bama, Bham would have just called into the game and made them overturn it. LOLOLOL

I absolutely despise the fricking Eagles. Even as a lifelong Saints fan……I would pull against them even if they were playing the damn Falcons.

They shite in our cereal in the playoffs before, but we've done the same to them as well. There are several NFC teams I despise more than them; Falcons, 49ers, Bears, and Vikings before the Eagles for me.

Is the SEC still the only conference that won't allow broadcast teams to listen in on the replay booth calling into games?

If so, this is another "it is right in your face" moments for fans.

At least now they aren't cheating for just one or two specific teams. Now that the playoff has expanded, they are rigging games now for teams outside of Bama and UGA.

Let's be honest. If the SEC starts letting us listen in on the review discussions, 90% of y'all would just post, "It's so obvious they're just muting the SEC exec in Birmingham telling them to adjust the call to benefit Alabama."

that wasn't betting on sports.
That's the SEC saying we aren't letting one of our potential playoff teams lose to a crappy Florida team. We want that playoff money, and we want as many teams in the playoffs that we can get.

The call ending the game sucks for sure, and it was a truly terrible flag.

Don’t let that distract you from the overall plot though. Campbell’s playcalling was bad, his inability to read the game was worse and Goff was abysmal.

Campbell has got to quit thinking every 4th down in the grey area is an auto GO. The Eagles could not move the ball. Playing field position saves the Lions at least 3 points last night, if not more. Going for it on 4th and 4 from inside the 5 was really dumb, because Goff couldn’t get anything done. Campbell’s decisions were a 9+ point swing in favor of the Eagles last night.

Then Goff. Man, if he can’t handle 40 degrees with a little bit of wind this team has no chance unless they secure home field throughout. He’s so soft.

The technology exists to get every single call right all the time. The fact that every year we play whack a mole with what’s reviewable and what isn’t and we keep getting pivotal games decided by horrible calls that can’t be reviewed makes it clear as day the league wants to leave the door open to manipulate the outcomes of games. I don’t think it can even be considered a conspiracy theory at this point

Every single word of this. I don't watch much NFL anymore since the "No Call". It was blatant cheating and was the nail in the coffin for me. Of course I will watch some playoff games and such and have seen the cheating being done for the Chiefs and Eagles as of late. It is insane how this is allowed now that gambling is legal.

Yep, It was Campbell's decisions that allowed a terrible call decide the game.

LOLOLOL

No. Transparency is always great. I, for one, would not say that. I'd call them out if they were wrong, but the transparency would be a huge step in the right direction.

Won't happen anyway and we know why.

Glad it is all still real for you! Enjoy the games next weekend!
