Everyone in this organization is too comfortable. This was the one significant risk about signing everyone to long term contracts.

Neris is trash. He’s on the right team.

ETA: disclaimer I do not know him personally, but I am not a fan.

I don't think that's it. Dodgers seem to be ok.

I just think we had a solid core from 2018-2022 and in the time since, AA undervalued how much the veterans meant to that core. He treated the team like a video game where leadership and intangibles don't factor in. He was so obsessed with extending our playoff window by getting younger while failing to recognize that we needed to go all in on our World Series window.

That's why letting Freddie and Dansby walk hurt on two fronts. Got lesser talented players to replace them and got rid of two clubhouse leaders.

Our big bullpen acquisitions this offseason were Hector Neris, Jose Suarez and the ghost of Craig Kimbrel.

We deserve this mop.

Feels like Tatis has had an AB every inning.

I don't think they are mailing it in or anything, but I do think we have a lot of guys that see baseball as their job (which it is) and not something they love. Mookie loves it. Soto loves it. Shohei loves it. Riley loves hunting. Olson acts like he's in line at Target 24/7. Ozzie and Ronnie are understandably more concerned with big booty latinas

I know the "they don't love the game" stuff is cheesy, but when you get all this money so young I do think it matters in that situation

The bullpen hasn’t even been that bad. We just can’t get on base or do anything when we do.

Ozzie going to the DL. I’ve seen this before.

Well I know a former reliever who could fix the bullpen situation. Still in great shape and his arm is well rested.

While this whole premise is dumb (Shohei loves his dog more than baseball and Mookie loves his podcast more), on the Olson front, I think it's not a coincidence that our winning culture seems to be wilting due to AA's two biggest everyday player acquisitions being Oakland A's players.

When Strider and Ronald get back we may already be 10+ games out of first already.

I don't think this is the issue either. Everyone who has ever said anything about Acuna says the man just loves to play baseball and it shows when he's on the field.

AA's thorough vetting of everyone who comes in has probably hurt this team. They have the same problem the Falcons have. Everyone has to be a boy scout. There isn't anyone with an edge who will kick guys in the arse when it's needed because AA insists that everyone has to be a passive nice guy.

We have 1 fricking hit and that was in the 3rd inning. May be headed for a 3rd shutout vs Glasnow tomorrow night.
