From a value standpoint they will probably make some trades that look wonky, but they can pretty much get any role player type guy they want off a rebuilding team with the number of picks they have since they can just beat any other team’s offer. They can also swap picks for more out into the future (which they’ve already done a few times I think)

Can you trade a package of picks for like 10 years from now?

Seven years is the max I believe.

Let's say they get beat in the wcf or 2nd round.

There's a handful of elite players who can be had IMHO if the offer is right

Are all the picks they have almost too many? The team is young as hell with few if any holes, only15 on the roster, their own picks will be at the back of every round..

Presti learned last build that it can be gone just as fast. Him trading Harden was owners forcing his hand because they didn’t want to be in tax hell (was a new CBA at the time). Presti got blame but was taking orders. Then KD just up and left with no value in return.

So Presti went scorched earth. He kept them viable for a few years after KD and made some smart trades.

Then he knew he’d need to go scorched earth so he started trading his assets for future. The PG13 trade was massive bit he got great value out of Russ and CP3 too. And others.

Now he sits on top of throne with all these picks. He can’t use them all. But he’s prepared if a major star gets injured he can use all those insurance picks. And the ones he can’t use he can sell or trade for future picks. There is always someone who needs what he has, so he’s sitting pretty.

Going to be much easier to navigate if he wins the title

They could be good for a very long time. Unless greed becomes more important than winning.

And don't they still have like 6 first round picks in their pocket.
They have 14 players under contract next year and 4 first round draft picks. Talk about loaded.
