Don’t make me like you with your voice of reason.

If the report was legit, there will be documentation of it in Ohio State’s system.
If the report was legit and then followed by an investigation he would have been fired then. Agree or disagree

Based off what? Her word? Ohio State would have required more evidence than that to can him or they’d get sued out of their arse.
Well, you would think they would want to interview the accuser, no?

If he’s lying about reporting it, that will be easily discovered by the investigative team and he will get fired.
Oh he’s already done. They just need to put the verbiage together to fire him with cause.
Reported it or not he kept him on staff and has embarrassed the university by lying & trying to hide it. You don’t keep your job after that, I don’t care how good of a coach you are. He is just as responsible

What would you like to know about it? If the Title IX coordinator wasn't informed by someone, OSU still has problems.

statement? If he reported, he fulfilled his job requirement and will be fine. If he didn’t,
Because he kept him on staff and it was never investigated. His complicity is going to get him canned. Only because he is a great coach are you thinking otherwise

Start with my post above.

So Urban Meyer reported the guy for abusing his wife in 2015 then?
Link? He said he ran something up the flagpole. He didn’t say he reported domestic abuse.

Reported it or not
Reporting allegations or reporting that he abused her? It’s a huge difference some are ignoring.

Are you saying Smith would have been fired? If so, it’s hard to say because you don’t know what the investigation would have found. As I told you earlier, the police records were sealed until this month. It would have entirely been a he said/she said situation. I doubt he would have been fired in that scenario because he would sue Ohio State and probably win.

Of course. But if that’s all the evidence they have, they probably wouldn’t have fired Smith. He would have won a suit against them if they fired him simply off an accuser’s story.

I wish I knew you IRL so we could wager money on this.

So what did he report then?

Ohio State would have their pick of the litter outside of 5 people.

You'll have to be more specific. This is for your benefit, not ours.

Either way, explain to me if this was properly done by tOSU how Smith maintained his job? This is 2015, as others have mentioned same time frame as Ray Rice and other relatable news stories.
You are telling me that if this was properly looked at along with his arrest in 2009, that any DECENT university would have kept Smith around?

Dumb comparison.
There were witnesses in the PSU situation and multiple victims.
Zero witnesses and one accuser in Ohio State’s.

This or this?
Given the fact that Smith is now fired....
You are honestly telling me that IF this was reported in 2015 officially, that tOSU investigated this and officially cleared Smith and Urban?
I'm saying, either Urban covered it up OR tOSU covered it up.
Given what we know, NO ONE at tOSU investigated this properly.

Link of anyone claiming to have witnessed Smith abusing his wife?
