I’d bet OSU finds all kinds of handwritten reports sent by Urban in a timely manner. Wouldn’t surprise me if the police find a few too.

Meyer knew about it and lied. This was pretty much known by everyone. Only the dishonest ones wouldn’t admit it.
However you would have to be blind to not realize that this memo along with the, not so independent, independent investigation is setting the stage for keeping him by OSU.

I think the following is becoming increasingly obvious:
1) Urban knew about this all along
2) Urban probably told a few people
3) The end result will be Urban will be cleared of wrongdoing, but will forever be known as one of the biggest POS to ever coach college football. However, if he keeps winning at tOSU, no one will care that he is a massive POS.
He clearly has no problem with a woman-beater being on the staff. He only fired the guy because he thought the public would not like knowing that. By lying about it at B1G media day, he thought he could keep his public nice guy persona. Now that his job is on the line, he has no problem revealing the POS he really is.
He may personally respect women, but truly he doesn't give a crap if anyone else does... as long as that person is contributing to a winning program.

Think about this:
Even if he does stay, imagine the outrage of female students, organizations, etc on that campus.
Even if he did go through the proper channel(s), its almost is if he HAS to be fired to avoid all the outfall if he stays.
Its the day we live in. Everyone wants to have a "gotcha!" moment, and they will use Urban Meyer to do so.

Lol if you think OSU’s just gonna eat a $38 million buyout IIRC to save face and make a guy who probably (at this point) followed Title IX and contractual protocol a scapegoat for something that’ll probably blow over once cooler heads prevail and the season starts, then you have completely lost your mind pragmatically. Ethically/morally, I get where you’re coming from but in the business world, if protocol was followed by UM then what’s the point of paying him all his entitled money to leave when he did what he was required to do? that’s inefficient as hell. The OSU brand and Urban are big enough to survive this, all they gotta do now is conduct damage control.

That really is the crux. The media will dig its heels in no matter if it’s righr or wrong. OSU handled this entire matter poorly from the onset and ive said as much.
If the evidence comes out and these reports were known and reported to police, the AD, the compliance people etc, then I think a large majority of people will relieve Meyer. He is being demonized because of who he is and how he handled himself so poorly at previous stops.
I would like to see a media member call out some of the fake news and the biased reporting on this. Let’s get both sides fully, then decide what is right, not 12 hours of witch hunt followed by 3 days of media members hungry to get clicks writing stories then finally get a crappy 1 page letter from Meyer which doesn’t answer questions and Zach Smith saying he only defended himself when there are pics that look like more.
