It would not surprise me if the Ravens make it into the dance that they will be the most dangerous AFC team.

There's no singular dominant team because there is no consistently good QB play.
Lamar and Burrow got hurt this year, but you still have Josh Allen, Stafford, Dak, Maye, etc. leading top teams.
Mahomes's and Herbert's teams have injury and OL issues, not QB issues.

Rams today changed nothing

I actually think its the Cowboys.

Damn, what do you define as "consistently good QB play"?
Stafford: 32 TDs, 4 INTs, 66%
Maye: 21 TDs, 6 INTS, 71%
Prescott: 25 TDs, 8 INTs, 69%
Love: 19 TDs, 3 INTs, 67%
Hurts: 19 TDs, 2 INTs, 66%
Mayfield: 19 TDs, 5 INTs, 63%
Mahomes: 22 TDs, 7 INTs, 64.6%
QBs will have bad games over the course of a season. Manning, Brady, Montana and Marino all had bad games, even during MVP type years. The above over the course of so far 12 games is pretty darn good.
I don't know what's expected here. Almost like playing Madden has ruined realistic expectations.

No one is clear cut.
I don’t know why I feel this way and I hate it but this year might be ripe for the cowboys.

Youd have to take Bears seriously if they get bye and home field
Two of their losses are division losses. They need to sweep Green Bay.

Naw. It's nostalgia bullshite where they pretend things were so much better in the past and don't actually go revisit the past.
Then when presented with the data, you'll see them create a pivot where they claim something invalidates the current stats (like a rule change).

I was including just TD passes vs. INTs, not total TDs.
And dude...while I'm not diehard like you, I am a Josh Allen fan. He's one of those players I will intentionally put my TV on their game if available, and I'm rooting for either him or Purdy to win the SB this year.
But the 19 TD passes vs. 10 INTs isn't amongst the best of consistent QB play in this current era of the NFL. It's been a rough last two games for him on that front. I'm pulling for him, though. Love watching him play.

It’s buffalo they are just wanting that post season to arrive

Having Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, Ryan, Rivers, etc.... all in their primes at the same time or close to it really skewed people's perception of what QB play should look like. That was a golden age of QBs and it wasn't appreciated enough.

The other thing about looking back is we know what happened and can create a narrative and forget things look different when they are still unfolding. There’s a lot more years like this where 2/3 to 3/4 of the way thru there doesn’t look like a dominant team, but some one will win the SB and multiple playoff games to get there and years from now we’ll say they were the best team all along.

As a Cowboys fan I would love this but I don’t think it’s going to happen. Lots of ball left to be played.
