Curt Cignetti from Indiana. It’s early, but he’s a damn good coach that wins everywhere he goes

I agree, but Cignetti’s résumé might have too many similarities to Billy Napier’s, despite having a much longer track record of success.

Both had a very successful run in the Sun Belt. Both are former Alabama WR coaches under Saban.

Unfortunately that’s all it takes sometimes for the narrative to be set. Napier has been such a disaster that Florida doesn’t want the next coach to have any similarities to him at all. They’ll want to go in a completely different direction.

Michael Desormeaux.

Their AD will go back to the same fishing hole as last time.

Careful what you wish for. He'll upset a team like UCF or Kentucky, and then talk your AD into giving him the job permanently.

Is Florida's AD a regard who will get into a bidding war with himself?

Don't think the Gators want another G5 HC. Just did that with McElwain and Napier. They are going to try and pull a sitting P5 HC.

All but Stoops. As I stated in my previous post, they are going to try and pull a sitting P5 HC

Stoops is a good coach but not a quick fixer. They need either Lane or
Urban. If its like most coaching changes recently it will be a cluster. Most
really good coaches DON`T move very often. They will have to throw
10-12 mil a year at their guy but then you are locked in to that guy for
at least 7
