Could you imagine the hoopla about asterisks, had the Astros won the World Series in 2020?

Bama didn't have one opt out of Covid case.
Saban didn't coach the iron bowl because of Covid. They obliterated an ohio state team that had fields at QB and JSN, Garrett Wilson, and Jameson Williams at receiver. They blew out a full strength Georgia team.
Who else was going to beat them at full strength? Correlation doesn't equal causation. Bama had the best team in football that season and it wasn't terribly close. 8 of 22 starters were eventual first round picks

You already know the answer to the question. 2020 was a fricking joke.

They played every other teams 3rd string. And Ohio State barely even played a season.
Is that Bama's fault?

Loosely related to this, the Braves won the last “real” World Series when pitchers had to bat.

Lebron and AD dont have the stamina to do a full season and full playoff schedule
Their only shot at a ring was that shortened bullshite
In your opinion, who was the rightful NBA champion of the 2020 season?

We will never know

No they didn't. They literally did a full on NBA playoff series, just as every other year. The only difference was location. But the basketball and formatting of the playoffs was the same.

Because the Lakers, Dodgers, and Bama won.

Don’t you know?
2020 Alabama lucked into that thing. Nothing points to Alabama being a NC worthy team. Fluked it in 2020.
Ultra defensive right out the gate without provocation…that’s telling.

Why don't we know. They played basketball that year. They played an NBA season of 71 games. It's not the full 82 game season, but we don't mark the lockout shortened seasons as illegitimate.
The Bucks had the best record, along with the MVP. Perhaps they should be named NBA champs that year. But wait, they lost to the Heat 4-1 in the playoffs. Was that result also illegitimate?

Because 2020 Alabama was better than 2019 LSU and that is literally all LSU fans have to hold onto.

This is sad even from a Bama fan trying to hold on to relevance

In a bubble with no fans and no traveling

No traveling? But the losing teams didn’t travel either, right?

Then why did the program that won the most championships and the player that won the most championships win again?
I could see if Ole Miss or the Nicks won the championship. You could say it was an anomaly.
It was the hardest college football season of all time. Alabama went undefeated against an all-SEC schedule. Played every team except the teams that ended up in 13 and 14th place. No cupcake stat padding games etc.
The NBA bubble was also stated to be the hardest championship of all-time.
Sorry LSU sucked after 2019, but life goes on.

Fans and traveling doesn't determine a champion. That's a tiny factor. The biggest factor is the play on the court. The actual game of basketball.
