Miserable season for the Nats. Covid seasons have not been kind to me so far. Will be rooting for Slam Diego or the White Sox to win this one. Dodgers probably take it all since there will be no fans to add pressure.

It's Atlanta in a postseason game, so the odds are pretty good.

it's cincinnati in a postseason game, so the odds are pretty even.

which team will have a more shocking and absurd exit? i guess the braves have more to lose as the better team, but the reds could still find a way to do some ignorant shite.

What do you want them to do? In most cases it is not feasible. They I guess could play 1 in afternoon and 2 at night and regionally showcase them. But to get games national coverage they have to play in afternoons. We all know games last 4 hours now.

I really think all playoff games for weekends (Sat and Sun) should be played in afternoon.

I kinda like the afternoon games. Can follow on my computer at work - baseball moves slowly, you can peek in periodically and stay up to date fine.

It's the night games that last to midnight that do me in.

Plus, they FINALLY get Terry Francona back. I don't think people realize the Indians have been without their manager for 75% of the season. Getting him back should give them a huge boost.

It was announced yesterday Sandy would manage the postseason..

Not by stacking every one of your playoff games during working hours and leaving the prime time slot with one game

They are SO bad at marketing the game it is truly unbelievable.
Theyre playing these game at bubble sites. Not dure what you expect here. I agree with your poibt overall about other shite they do, but on this, it kinda is what it is.

Also, Im on vacation this week so I get to gloriously lounge and flup around to all the action all week. Its like a badass opening weekend of March Madness

First round the higher seed hosts at their stadium FWIW. Bubble sites begin next round

So pumped we get playoff baseball from lunch time til late at night for the next week or 2 even if it’s a weird season that many people will claim is not a legit title

It's really weird seeing ABC get in the rotation. They haven't had playoff games in forever. Anyone know why Yelich fell off a cliff suddenly?

Someone will always find something to complain about. The game will never be perfect. I remember growing up during The Baseball Network era when there would be 4 LDS games start at the same time. Then FOX and ESPN took over, and some games went back to afternoon start times.

Yeah, just wish the Astros (and Twins) didn't get rawdogged with the early games during the week.
