I had no idea that so many people had such an adverse opinion of Naked and Afraid until today. This has been educational. It's been one of the best shows on television for a long time, and it has nothing to do with nudity. 80 percent of the women on their aren't worth looking at.

I used to watch it a lot but kinda petered out over time. Especially when they started getting trannies on there. Gross.

I enjoy the survival aspects of it. Honestly they would show more skin if it were "Tiny bikini and Afraid". The blurbs cover up everything.

I’m not sure if folks were downvoting because they dislike Naked and Afraid, or just the way you presented the first post in this thread.
Personally I think that the original N&A was a very good show. As time has gone on,
I’ve found the 40 and 60-Day XL challenges to be more entertaining than the newer regular episodes. I realize that a lot of the drama is contrived. It’s still pretty interesting to watch them build shelters and look for food, and displaying other skills.
There are a few of the females who are easy on the eyes, which is a little bit of a bonus.

Laura is my favorite also. I think she outgrew the game, she hasn't been on the all-stars in a number of years.

She looks like someone trying to fill a niche on instagram to make money. The show seeks out actors and social influencers, not hardcore survivalist. And I don't say that as a bad thing, just simply that that's what they are looking for. They want people that are going to attract a certain viewer. They are Bear Grylls to Survivorman.
I'll give it to them though, it's still an interesting concept and show, and for it to be on this long is a awesome, but it's more of a tv show than a survival show, whereas Alone is more of a survival blog than a tv show.
To each his own. Obviously many people still enjoy it, so good on them.

The show is not what it used to be, but I still enjoy it. I find myself fast forward in a lot of episodes.
One thing the is 100% real are bugs and the bug bites. That alone would make me tap.

I like the show but people stink after 2 or 3 days with no shower I couldn't imagine how bad the smell is after 2 weeks outside naked.

The rumor I have seen was that she hasn’t come back because of the XL season in the Philippines. Jeff pulled the whole “neighbors not roommates” act and then proceeded to act like an arse every time he got a catch. She was his partner, and the show portrayed her as fully going along with his decision.
I think there was also a rumor that they had hooked up, so who knows.
On the post season wrap up show, Charlie basically tore into Jeff and looked like he was ready to kick his arse. IIRC, that was the last post season wrap up show for an XL they did.

This kind of shite is why i stopped watching. It basically became MTV Challenge with less clothes
