The Departed and it's not close. I remember being in the theatre realizing very quickly that this movie was going to be bad arse.
Another one that's good is the Girl with the dragon tattoo and Fight club. Both similar but definitely sets the tone.

The Shining has that opening with them driving through glacier national park on going to the sun road.

While in general this is not my favorite movie, the opening credits are fricking badass, and feature one of the most badass songs of all time in Vitamin C by Can. Probably my favorite scene in the movie actually
