A rewatch on that one is pretty cool. A lot of things will stand out. Yorkie's reaction to them almost having a wreck, her mindset of a 20 year old, other little things like the nerd that keeps coming up to her in the arcade, etc...

I just watched The Entire History of You last night
After the reveal she cheated on him, he went through and looked at all the periods in life and the glance she gave him....was he noticing that she NEVER looked at him the way she looked at Jonas?
ETA: I would never want to be grained.....
ETA2: Liam was a bitch...I was actually unhappy his jealousy proved to be correct.

It's been a little while since I've seen it...but I thought when he stayed up all night examining her looks it was only in teh past few weeks when the 3 of them were around each other at the same time. I didn't think he went back through his entire life of her looks. Could be wrong though.

WIPE IT!!!!!!

I felt like he went back in increments all the way to the beginning...and realized she never looked at him as adoringly as she had Jonas.

I thought he was noticing that she really did love him despite what happened, and it just made his situation even worse which is why he cut his grain out. You can see her shoot him little looks and smile, like in the flashback when she's walking up the stairs but pauses to look down at him
I just re-watched this episode the other day to introduce my GF to the series so that I could sell her on watching the new season together.

I really don't get the hate for this one. It's almost the most depressing episode because of how possible that world is.
It's a different approach but I enjoyed it

The Jon Hamm episode was so good I guess I was expecting something mind-blowing. Nosedive just didn't pull me in.

Well put.
It was mentioned earlier about how every person has a different favorite episode. I don't think it's about "which one has the most mindfricks in it", it's more like you said, which one resonates the most with you. I've not seen a bad episode of Black Mirror yet, but I still have The Waldo Moment to go. For whatever reason, I skipped it. Some people think Nosedive is the worst of this season. I loved it because, like you said, I can see that possibly taking place in the future, but it resonates with me because it's kind of how I view people posting on Facebook. Everybody's looking to see how many likes or upvotes they can get. What would happen if that ever got tied into a person's credit score?

But to me Black Mirror is more about a normal person's story, how some new/current technology affects their life, and how it interacts with their story. If it means a complete mindfrick/disaster ending I can like it. But the point of each episode is something that we can relate to because with the steady improvement of technology we can see these predicaments possibly taking place in the future. At least in my opinion, that's why the series is so enthralling.

I could see that. I watched the Hamm episode after the season 3 opener since the GF had already watched it

I'm afraid there might be something wrong with me. I was super psyched for episode 6 since everyone said it's one of the best of the season and maybe the series...but I just didn't care for it. It was pretty underwhelming to me. I appreciated the cat and mouse hunt they go on to find the bad guy, but killer bees overtaken by remote didn't really do it for me. I also really didn't like the ending. It was almost like they were trying too hard to pull some big twist and it fell flat. The young cop goes missing and turns out she's gone rogue to kill the bad guy. It was nice just kinda bleh.
One thing that drew me hard into BM is the futuristic things that affect people's day to day lives which we've seen in just about every episode. Even the solider episode which seems to be pretty disliked I enjoyed a lot more than this one because of that aspect. This episode didn't really have that element within it so maybe that's why it didn't grab me quite as much.
For me personally I would rank the S3 eps:
2/4
1
3/5
6

Watched Nosedive last night.
Thought it was ok, but the idea behind it is absolutely horrifying. It stressed me the frick out, mostly because how I can easily see that being part of our future.
I love how this show does that.

I LOVED nosedive until about the last 3 or 4 minutes. But the plot and the delivery was awesome.

Yes, the concept and technological setup of nosedive is black mirror at its absolute best, but the last few minutes didn't deliver. I was still disturbed for several days though. Really scary vision of the future, and one that points out problems with current society and technology.
None of the other season 3 episodes had that same effect to me, which is why I didn't really care for any of them.

S3E2 spoilers...
Watched E2 last night. Not bad. I liked the idea of the chips in the head that make "games" come more to life than ever before. Kinda saw the twists coming at the end, but I guess when they pulled the additional twist at the end of him being dead I wasn't expecting that. But the last couple minutes of the episode were sort of confusing. So was he actually there with his mom while she was freaking out and trying to call him? Were they saying that somehow he caused his mom to call him and that's what fricked up the upload into his brain?
The ending was a little weird, but overall I liked E2. The spider thing would have freaked me the frick out though.

I think they were saying that the phone call from his Mom itself caused the malfunction. I think it was because he was feeling very guilty for leaving her and ignoring her calls because of her condition. When those feelings of guilt flooded him during initialization the program caught onto it. It used that to attack him as it was programmed to do, and it was so powerful that it killed him.

Right, and that all basically happened in the span of .4 seconds. It was just sort of a convoluted ending a little bit. Solid episode though.
The chick in it was a smoke show.

Yeah I think it would have been more effective had the storyline with mom and his guilt played a much larger role in the nightmare sequences. The thread is there but it was confusing at first how the phone call led to his death.

Just watched episode three (Shut Up and Dance), and holy shite that was amazing. That's the kind of shite that makes Black Mirror such a great show.
That may be the second best episode of the series for me behind tEHoY.
Fantastic job of making us feel bad for them the entire time, only to have the rug pulled out with that twist. Good shite.
I'm actually kinda sad that I only have three episodes left.
