I had no problem with this episode. Definitely a set-up episode. Some of you guys need to make sure to take your Ritalin before you watch the show. Or go watch The Expendables.

I liked this episode a lot.
Some important things to note:
Hank getting promoted and the tracking device on the Methylamine leads me to believe that there is at least 1 corrupt DEA agent that is getting paid off by Madrigal. What's strange is that Mike doesn't seem to know anything about it, but suspects something since the placement of the tracking device was "sloppy." My guess is Gomez, the guy that offered Hank the promotion, and Hank's boss could all possibly be corrupt.
Walt is getting fed up with Skylar. How long before he realizes that she has to go? I still think that he will put the ricin in one of her cigarettes to kill her.
If the DEA is monitoring Mike's activity, how have they not spotted him with Jesse and Walt?

They said they were setting up a team to start surveillance....somehow it hasn't started yet.

Apparently they are playing 4 more episodes this year and finishing season 5 summer 2013.

I heard they are doing 8 and 8?

Same here. I thought it was a good show. My question is are there no cameras in the Madrigal warehouse?

I agree. Gives Skyler more ammo to hate Walt and snitch.
Something tells me we haven't seen the last of Ted. I think Hank, being the curious soul he is, goes and asks him questions about Skyler and her current mental state.

I don't get why so many didn't like the episode. It was great drama.
People bitching about how slow this show is have attention spans so short that they are typing on the internet while watching the show. The "bright, shiny objects" comment a few posts back was dead on.

The camera's are what the Madrigal chick was turning off before she let Jesse in, she turned off everything in the warehouse before finally getting it.

Remind me what the story was with this? For some reason I have no idea what you're talking about.
When Walt's Ex is offering for her and her husband to pay for his treatment, and Walt tells her he has it covered and she finds out later he told Skyler they were paying for it, they meet at the restaurant. Then Walt flips out on her and they kinda go into a bit of why they split up and Walt left his research with her. Accusing her of being a spoiled rich girl with her millions and whatnot. They don't explain entirely.

Yeah, that wouldn't attract any unwanted attention.

I see 3 scenarios in the way this is going:
1) somebody rats
2) somebody blunders
3) Walt dies of cancer
Of the list of possible rats or someone who blunders, you have
1) Lydia - they wouldn't put her in the show so late and give her this much play unless she figures in big.
2) Skyler - obvious
3) Ted - He should be dead! That said, no way Walt lets this man live, so that will be entertaining.
4) The Pest Patrol guys. You have to trust people in this business, but these clowns look shady and clueless.
5) Jesse's friends
6) the inner circle - like say even Mike since Hank is going to tail him now.
7) Walt - gets drunk and ... (another obvious), or his ego ... It seems like he is very careless now.
8) Saul - he'd go sour to protect himself - and probably the big mouth breathing guy he has as his protection.
just quickly brainstorming - anyone else

The writers didn't leave him on the show for nothing. He will figure into something major before too long.

I wouldn't be surprised if everybody turns on him. Mike, Jesse, Saul, and Skyler all think he's crazy.

Maybe Walt will go frick with Ted periodically and keep asking him if he's ready to die. That would be cool.

f you criticize an episode like this, then you really don't get what makes the show great in the first place.
You couldn't be more right. This episode was all about character development and showing how the plot will unfold. There have been episodes just like this (all drama, or "slow" according to some of you) throughout the seasons. They are crucial to making a great show great. Great acting in this episode too! If it were bad, it would not have been believable which would probably have led to a pretty shitty episode.
With all that said, this episode tied it all pretty nicely to allow the shite to hit the fan.

I liked the epsiode a lot. I thought the back and forth between Walt ant Skyler was excellent. The core of the show has always been Walt's relationship with his family. That scene was great. The tighter he holds on the more it seems to slip through his fingers.

Yall are all so fricking one tracked! None of yall probaly have a wife or kids.....This is a drama.....this is suppose to be real life.....this is a badass episode because finally family issues will compromise morally ambigous behavior.
I thought this was a great episode, too. Probably my favorite of this season. Skylar is actually having a mental breakdown and is trapped by Walt and it came through.
