I worked with Brittany about a year and half ago in Houma filming the feature film "Deadline", which came out this month.
She was very nice to the crew and the homeowner of our principal location.
She did smoke and drink coffee all day and seemed to be under the control of her husband Simon, who was this dumpy, creepy british guy. You could tell she was not in a good place.
But regardless of your opinion of her acting, it is sad that she passed at 32

I am 32. I couldn't imagine dying at this age. I still feel like I have most of my life ahead of me. That is sad, no matter how it happened or what kind of actress she was.

does anyone else find it odd that seemingly everyone's first thought about this was, "coke."

heart problems in your early 30s are either a serious defect (which is possible) or something else
coke leads to heart problems, for a variety of reasons, and if you OD on coke, you often have a heart attack
also, she's in hollywood
another very plausible explanation is anorexia. that puts stress on your heart big time also

I've been seeing heroin addiction. On Vicodin for recent plastic surgery. Coke is being thrown in the mix and she's very fricking skinny which leads you to believe she had the annnorexic. All combined make a pretty nice cocktail of death.
also seeing reports on how creepy and weird her husband is. I just always heard of him as a producer and never heard anything about his outside behavior......but as ugly and fat as he is, it wouldn't surprise me if he was keeping her doped up so he could be with her.

well coke is OFTEN related to heart problems by its very nature. that's why it is being thrown around, imho
