Really good finale. This show is definitely worth checking out.

I like how they ended it.

If that was the end?

That's how you do a finale. Enough intrigue to fuel a season 2.

I took the series of events to mean that you couldn't get back to this world if you were still with Amanda. Guessing they all got clarity of mind soon after she left.

well with 2 people in the box, it was always affected by both of their thoughts.
If you remember when Jason 2 went in with someone else, he trained them to clear their mind so that he could make the sole decision on where they were going. Amanda and Jason 1 were both affecting where they were going, as they thought whoever opened the door was making the sole decision.
I think....

I called the ending as soon as multiple Jason’s showed up. Was like “they have to leave this universe and let Charlie or Daniela decide so they could never be found.

The fact that all those other Jason’s are equally the main guy in a sense is brutal though.

I loved the show but think I’d prefer it to be only one season. Don’t see how they would continue it without jumping the shark immediately

yep. It's one thing to kill Jason 2. That's an easy decision. But all those other Jasons are no different than the original Jason.

I don't think original Jason has any of the drug left to go into the box. Bad Jason does, so he'd have to steal it from him, all while convincing his wife and kid to go with him and not one of the other Jason's.

I think the author confirmed that they let Charlie choose.

Agree on one season.

Technically im not even sure how we as the audience can even be sure we were still following the same original Jason other than just accepting that that was the shows intention

i think that's true with the show only viewers but as a book reader you stay with his POV the whole time so you know it's him

I think the show subtly addressed this when Charlie asks if hes his real dad and Jason replies "yes and no"

He is but so are the others. Basically he just got there first and wasnt mentally fricked up enough for Daniella to reject him.

The author said it was Jason 1 we were following there at the end. But you could see how it could easily have been any of them.

That gay black dude from the main universe looked at the end like he was having an absolute blast in the multiverse.

Charlie actually asks if all the other Jasons are his real dad, not if that Jason was his real dad, im pretty sure

As a patron of the Village Tap, it annoyed me that they used a different bar. But there is no red neon sign so we must live in a different universe. I recognized a lot of the other locations though.

I was behind all season but watched the last two episodes last night. A great way to end the season with a sense of closure but leave it open for more. I’m sure Apple will renew.

I loved the series but did not like all the Jason’s- I wish it was just the 2 of them. They should all have their own doors anyways, didn’t make sense to me. I doubt we see the Dressens again but hope we get a season 2 with the secondary characters. It appears Ryan1 and Amanda2 are in the same world- that would be cool.

This show is awesome. There will be a season 2. Too many hints not to.

There's only one door. That's how superposition works.

They used the Damen Tavern (Ukrainian Village), about two blocks away from me... but neither are in Logan Square where they lived (even though the house is in Bucktown). The place was suppose to be his neighborhood bar..

I liked the book enough and was dubious if they could adapt it to TV.. I enjoyed it and don't really need/want a season 2...

I do.

Alternate reality/multiverse is my jam.

Binged the show this week with the wife and we both really enjoyed it. I've read enough lay person books on physics & quantum mechanics to enjoy that side of it while knowing there was some BS too of course. But the show did a good job of having an emotional theme and core that was as important to it, so well done to them for that.

Very solidly satisfying ending as others said, that leaves obvious potential for more. But I'm definitely on the apprehensive side about where that could go without the box being a constant crutch and becoming a gimmick. But you could probably have said something similar about the Stargates in SG-1 so I guess we'll see.

Oh - one other thing. I really wanted to see if they would find a way to "coalesce" the multiple versions and probabilities, which would fit with the show and the first episode where they talk about the observer being inherently part of the experiment in quantum physics.
