HBO seems to have absolutely gone out of their way to only cast near flat-chested women as Bene Gesserit.
Common theme in the big network shows. Making ugly actresses a big thing. Even the emperor's daughter is as average as possible, which makes absolutely no sense.

I find her very sexy, and you wont' meet a guy who loves big arse titties more than me.

Mother Valya, while a grandma, hides her sweater puppies well, and has showed them before.
Sister Francesca is also hiding her big Indian bewbs.
Sister Theodosia is also hiding her chocolate milk bags.
Those outfits the sisters/mothers wear make them all look flat chested. Granted some of them are flat chested, but I have noticed the sweater puppies on a few of them. It's a talent of mine.
And the bare boobs we got to see in this show bouncing around were magnificent.

yeah, so much Girl Power when the head of the Benne Gesserrit got owned by a man and he laughed in her face
i'm wondering how you think this show was created
Writers room and HBO management: "OK guys, we need to make a girl power show and really push how awesome women are."
"ok, lets make them all a bunch of conniving, backstabbing bitches and then have them get completely owned by some unknown male character that got ate by a sandworm, because that makes women look powerful."
Apparently, you never heard of the Marvel universe.

How is there no nudity in an HBO series? I guess Penguin had none either.

Penguin had some street hooker in see through clothes, or might have been a titty just hanging out, regardless, they were forgetable.
Dune had a wonderful pair of boobs bouncing around in the 2nd episode, and it lasted quite a while.

There’s Ts in the second episode and that’s about the only half decent thing in the show so far.

So who do you think Ragnar is?

Earlier I thought he’d be some form of Cymek or something like that but this show is so stupid he’s likely just going to be some freak, magical being that doesn’t make any sense.

This might be where I get off. I simply don't care about any of this including who or what Desmond is.

As I wrote earlier, Brian gave us that stupid Norma super being storyline. So if they are allowing him to have some input, I'm not surprised.

So is this show worth a watch now that the first 4 eps are out?
I love Dune and Dune 2 fwiw.

My brain reflexively tries to delete anything Brian is part of so I continuously forget this is based on his shite.

I’m guessing Tula’s (spelling) son.

The episode was ok. It had its flashes such as when Raquel's appeared and started giving orders. That was pretty cool.
The reveal that Desmond is an Atreides and Harkonnan means he is probably Tula's son. Also might explain some of his powers since he could be a KH precursor and show why 10,000 years later they wanted to breed the two lines to produce one.
The assault by Desmond was so predictable.
Had potential but for a penultimate episode, it was ok.
Get rid of the damn Westworld writers.

I'm kind of confused how things turned so quickly with the emperor and his wife.
The emperor still doesn't trust the sisterhood and is going along with everything Desmond Hart says. His old lover shows up (who happens to be a sistaaa) and he hasn't switched his allegiance or anything just wants some pussy (which the wife doesn't know about) and as soon as he gives the royal fleet to his son the wife\queen instantly goes to frick Desmond Hart and try to get him on her side?
Like Desmond Hart is completely loyal to the emperor through all of this and literally nothing has happened for that to change (atleast for him) and this cum bucket goes in and tries to control him out of no where?
We don't know if he(Desmond) has switched his allegiances yet, but him following through with making out and presumable sex means he has in my mind.
Doesn't really make any sense?

Well, the BG are adept at seducing men. When a witch sets her mind to it, it's hard for the man to resist. That is why in Heretics of Dune, some of them were angry Teg's BG mother taught him everything.
I think the wife knew what was going on, and of course it's an emperor's prerogative to play around, and saw Desmond as the one person who shared her goal of exterminating the sisterhood. Also Desmond opening up to her made him seem just a tad vulnerable to her. You know how women like to fix things .
More I thought about it, likely story is Desmond is the son of Tula and her Atreides lover whom she killed. That will probably make Desmond more determined.
Interesting thought. So the virus was first conjured up by the machines. Desmond is thus using a machine virus to carry out his goals. Can the Sisterhood use that against him?
One enjoyable scene was where Racquella took over. She was barking orders and everyone from the Reverend Mother to the acolyte was jumping. Probably the first time in the series the BG looked like it might have a chance.

It's a bit more than that. She imprinted him. So he was kind of a sexual pawn for the BG. She probably nailed him again just to reinforce/refresh the influence she held over him.
Considering that Francesca had already bourn him a son, it's something of a stretch to believe that the wife didn't know.
