it was an ok ending if there will be a movie. it was mediocre if not. the story lines for each character were basically wrapped up but they were rushed.
and anyone who didn't like the ending of the sopranos is probably too stupid to understand it.

Really late to comment but this may have been the worst ending/final season to an HBO series ever.
That is all

didnt read this whole thread. But I wasnt happy or pissed with the ending but made me like it more or think i liked it more was the last words of the series.
drama for life

I liked it, I feel like it was what I expected. Some of the story lines were contrived, but it was about bros being bros. I know that the guys helping E get sloan back is a little ridiculous, but I love the passion and sincerity they had. Sloan never stopped loving E anuy damn way.

THIS. The show was never really about Hollywood's appeal for me. It was appealing because it's four best friends living the dream together, Vince just happened to be a movie star. Although I'm glad it was Hollywood solely for all of Ari's epic rants on the years

I might have wanted a little more, but they gave me what I believed I was going to get. Bye bye for now, Entourage

naw, ive loved the show basically from beginning to end. The only thing ive consistently hated was Drama's overblown act.

im just not sure what you guys expect from this show.. it started with basically two seasons of Vince fricking random movie stars.. it ended with Drama saying, 'i hope we get some pussy in Paris'..
Put it this way; if they are to do a movie, what do you think will draw more people to the box office:
1) the guys partying up until their old ways
2)vince gets married. Ari gets his family back. E raises a kid with Sloan.
#2 would be a total bomb. They need to find some type of wrench to throw into the current storyline or go back to part 1.
And as much as i loved teh show even when it turned to a drama based series, the first few seasons were easily the best part. I dont understand why people get mad when people complain that it better when they did stupid guy stuff and made everyone laugh.

I still don't understand how vince got the British chick. Every interaction he ever had with women was shallow and sex based. I'm not sure how he turned on Mr. Sophisticated all of a sudden to bag her.

That creepy arse DVD of his exes sealed the deal brah

I didn't love the finale, but it ended the way it should have with everyone on top, riding into the sunset, on a private jet. I'll miss the show.
the Ari scene was money at the end... I wish they would've done that storyline about 2 seasons ago.

it really was pretty lame and predictable
As far as the last episode goes, they couldnt have put a little more effort into it and shown Vince's date or some more Alice Eve?, who is probably hotter than Sloan in my book.
my main problem with entourage is how it always kept me unsatisfied and disappointing me, not only the plot and the character arcs but the bullshite 23 minute episodes and the 8 episode seasons spaced nearly a year or more apart... you kept me waiting too long and didn't justify the wait when it was over
the first seasons were very good but from then on, it was just a drag and I only saw it through because I like to finish what I start and hoped it would get back to what it started out as
Good bye Entourage, Im glad to see you go.

The only part of what you said that I agree with, but it is a very good point

when was the last time we saw the boys all out together acting a fool??? (serious question it has to be 3 seasons ago)

Maybe when they were in New York? Right before Vince got the Scorsese movie?

It wasn't a realistic ending at all, but that's the whole essence of the show. Do you think people in hollywood live "normal" lives? Of course not, and that's the whole point to me. frickin' marky mark would probably come out and say it's a true story, bro. Seriously.
Ari getting back with his wife was the MOST obvious thing to me. I knew it was going to happen that way. they've been setting that resolution up for years. he's always tried to juggle family and business, but it was never enough for his wife. He never pretends that he's not in love with his wife. He's a wreck. I actually love how they tied their relationship back together. Of course...Chairman and CEO of a studio might make it to where Ari says, "frick my kids. frick my wife. I'll just have Dana Gordon and be God."
Vince's engagement? bullshite for 99.9% of us. But I guess it's possible. Unprovoked vows from his friends/family, a creepy dvd, and an honest interview got him in the door. Youth, money, sincerity, etc, etc...who's to say you can't win over any woman with the right combination of those things. Just didn't align with her intelligence. I think they overdid that aspect. Should have made her a Berkeley feminist or something. Her character had shown no signs of impulsiveness until then.
E & Sloan? Jesussss. RETARDED relationship. But I guarantee you there's 5 white trash couples in every small Southern town that can equal that drama. They should have never broken them up in the first place. It added, basically, nothing. But since they had been off and on for years, I guess one last roller coaster was necessary for some reason.
Turtle, to me, is the most likeable guy on there. He evolved the most throughout the years. From screw up, fat, lazy bastard to self-made millionaire (albeit with a super clutch save by vince). Sure, he had help most people don't, but at least he was somewhat independent. And his story lines were more interesting than most of the other stuff.
Drama is Drama. And goddammit if I don't love his dumb arse for it.

Just got around to watching the last two episodes. I thought they were both good. I enjoyed the show throughout. Some seasons were better than others of course, but I'm glad I watched over the years.

Awful episode to culminate an awful season. I honestly could write several pages about how stupid the writing was this season, but I'll spare everyone, as many people seem intent on believing the storyline came together so nicely. I wasn't even sad when it ended, I was just thankful. Basically, the only reason I still record it is because it's easier than changing my DVR settings. The writing has slowly eroded over the years, culminating into the stupidity of a beautiful blonde that is a career first person throwing caution to the wind and getting married to Vince after one night together and a marriage proposal the next day, followed soon after by a to-be wedding in Paris. So while everyone will continue to thank HBO for the years of Entourage, I basically just want to throw them the bird and say frick you for how complacent the writers became in the end. /rant
