I’m enjoying season 2 but it some ways this seems like westworld. They may be trying too hard on the story, reveal, cliffhanger.
I think a big difference is the reveals aren’t overly convoluted nonsense only intended to trick the audience into thinking one thing to rug pull in a later scene
Certainly being more methodical this season than last, but I think that is related to how much bigger they plan on making this universe through other shows/games etc. planting seeds for a longer series run.
Most of the reveals for fallout are pretty well set up and not a huge shock, just pieced out longer.
Westworld is like “2+2 =4? Ha you fricking idiot it’s actually 5 in this universe. You dumb idiot”
Fallout is like “2+_=4, then reveals the answer as 2, although you prob already picked up on that.

It’s clear at least to me that the President and the government and vault tec are essentially one so by handing the fusion power to the President he’s handing it to vault tec.
The President was the guy upstairs giving the order to Barbara in season 1.
Ah, and the this weeks' special guest star playing the President is....
CLANCY BROWN

In their defense, it would be easy to expand the universe in other parts of the country like the games. It would be cool to see a post apocalyptic Boston on screen.
They could do a Brotherhood of Steel short run series showing the faction origin and people would watch it.
You could even do animated, or live action, one off shows out of season showing some of the twisted experiments that were going on in some of the vaults around the country.

what? Ella Purnell is a delight
the actress is fine nimwit. I said her character.
She is playing her character perfectly. She's not unlikeable. Yes, sometimes she does dumb things, but she is mostly naive due to her belief that people are good and that good should triumph in the end. The Ghoul is mildly entertained by her when she's not trying to get herself killed by her own stupidity. The Ghoul also feels a bit protective of her.
I'm ready for her to reunite with her brother. He's a little better at conniving and strategy than she is, but he doesn't know the whole truth yet. I think they meet up next show.

Good episode. Sets up the Enclave for season 3.
Ends with the Legion and NCR about to fight it out.

What part of this dont yall understand? Its not rocket science. I dont like the CHARACTER. The actress plays the role just fine.
Am I not allowed to dislike a character? I like the Ghoul, I like Robert House, I like Max. I clearly like the show...just not Lucy

The Ranger shooting the anti-material rifle in slow mo was a nice homage to FO New Vegas’s opening scene
Would be pretty cool to see

You can like or not like whoever you want, you came into this thread pretending like that was a largely held opinion by most, when the opposite is true. People disagreed. That’s how message boards work

I had the feeling that the NCR group was a group of the controlled like Hank talked about releasing.
The NCR was nothing at this point. Hank literally says he released a bunch of controlled and you’ll never know who is controlled or not. Then all of a sudden a full unit of NCR shows up?
I really thought the end scene was going to be them mowing down everyone in freeside.

Yeah and im fine with people disagreeing with my opinion. The pearl clutchers started lying by claiming I was criticizing the actress. Im allowed to call out liars on a message board

I think he "committed suicide" at the end and wasn't setting off the others. I think the NCR was the NCR because the black lady was the one in the desert that knew the ghoul.
I think, when he said that he released it out there, was him saying the enclave now has it and it is out there.

What are they fighting over? Is that ever even mentioned? We know what they fought over in the games, because they actually fleshed out the story. Season 2 really took this show in a awful direction. Season 1 was telling it's own story. Now, we have to hit all these beats, but we don't why we are hitting them. We have to all this stuff, and it all means...nothing. None of these characters have any semblance of a plan besides the ghoul. The rest are just flailing about from waypoint to waypoint showing off things we might remember if we played the game, with no consequences for their actions. I'd rather they stay away from New Vegas, and just tell their own story. I don't see how anyone can see this and think it's...good.

Strong ending. Thought it was less cliffhangerish and more a resetting for next season.
The NCR was supposedly gone except two people so I have to think it’s possible they are mind controlled. Hank did turn on his remote which makes me think he’s activated his people. The timing would be weird to have the NCR mind controlled and already be marching in but who knows. Just wonder what the template (formerly the senators head) is for Hanks controlled people and his purposes. His personal template Lucy set up appears pretty blank based upon his not communicating much.
