The best line of the movie was from the British guy. "I was going to listen to it, but then I just carried on living my life."

Agreed. The British guy and Paul Rudd more or less make this movie.

Pretty good Apatow comedy. Haven't seen Pineapple Express but I'm assuming it's more of the same, and that's a good thing.

Not as good as Superbad, which is at the top of the list, over 40 YOV and Knocked Up.

Nobody is tired of the main guy yet (Seth whatever his name is)? Hes the present day Will Ferrell, except this guy is getting old already.

He wasn't in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

I thought it had its moments, but I was kind of disappointed considering the massive build-up. I don't remember one part where I couldn't stop laughing. For me the best line was a random throw-away line from Rudd: "I like her red hair. I wonder if the carpet matches her pubes."

AGREE! I was disappointed in it too. Still good movie, but not great.

I never understood all the love for this movie. Without the British guy, FSM is just an average romantic comedy.

Paul Rudd continues to be the funniest guy in pretty much every movie he's in.

I watched this movie over the weekend, and it was decent, but VASTLY overrated based on what I've heard (from this board and other people).

I actually agree with NOBODY in that Jason Segel was pretty disappointing in the lead role. There were obviously some funny parts, but overall, the movie left me disappointed, being that it was an Apatow flick.

People who are saying this is one of the best comedies in the last decade are talking out of their asses, plain and simple.

40-Year-Old Virgin (especially), Knocked Up, SuperBad, Wedding Crashers, etc.. = all better than FSM

the reason i like FSM is bc it actually captured me with its plot. i felt like i could have watched this movie for another hour. liked it a lot. still not as good as superbad.
