I hate the people who complain about a show and continue to watch it but damn this show has gotten bad...I keep watching because I'm vested and it's almost over but it seems to get worse every season...

While the concept of the entire season being the weekend of Barnie's wedding was novel, I would have much rather seen even a quarter or half of the season being the wedding then getting to know e mother a little. I guess the second from last episode will have them meet and the last episode will be flashes of their life together or something

I thought I had read rumors that this season was going to have some of the close calls to them meeting from her perspective to give some insight into the mother and allow the audience to meet her without really throwing the concept of the show out of whack. Would have made more sense than having a 22 episode wedding weekend full of wacky hyginx.

Wedding is starting to annoy me quiet a bit. Rather they stay in the city and only made the wedding the last few episodes. This episode was kinda boring.

Last nights ep was pretty bad. The Ted/Lily/Marshall storyline was so ridiculous. It was very Ted/Lily/Marshall, I just didn't find it all that entertaining. Then the Robin Barney story line started out ok with Robin winning at Poker, but Barney going scorched earth on his family was too over the top even for Barney. I agree with the general consensus, don't drag the wedding out all season, give us half a season with the mother in New York.

Does anyone remember how the Slutty Pumpkin story concluded? When Ted walked off last night after revealing his Thank Your Card costume, the Slutty Pumpkin was standing right there. I thought I spotted an Easter egg, but part of me remembers Katie Holmes being the slutty pumpkin or something.
Maybe it was an Easter Egg in that she was right there and Ted never saw her because he was too busy trying to get Marshall to realize he never sent a Thank You card.

Katie Holmes was the slutty pumpkin, they start dating and both find out they have no chemistry and end up breaking up after they both realize they are just not into each other.
