I thought it was excellent (I’m a huge fan of the original) and it surprised me that Disney+ actually did a sequel right.

I know that is not Kathy Najimy upgrading from that damn vacuum cleaner to 2 Roombas
If they hadn't "gone woke" by acknowledging black people exist, I just might have watched it.

This sequel has no soul. Waited too long for the witches. Trans and gays HAD to be included. Every white dude is a bumbling idiot.
Positive notes. Sisters did extremely well for their age. Main two teenagers aren’t bad. Story has huge potential for a classic. If it was made 10 years ago, I think it would have been better.

Who knew there were so many transvestites in Salem? Any group you see dressed as the Sanderson sisters had a few. And just on queue another group scene of gay men snuggled on the couch.

A movie that didn't need a sequel
Hollywood strikes out time and time again, yet the 2 best movies as of late have been
Spiderman No Way Home
Top Gun: Maverick
It's a pretty simple formula - stick with what made the original movie so popular and resist any and all urges to 'modernize' or insert favorite woke messaging for 'today's audience'.

Not just that, they were a interracial couple too

Just made it through the one way or another stage bit. Enough gays and trannies to fill a monkey pox convention. Also who knew Salem had so much diversity. If this movie hadn’t gone out of its way to be woke it may have been a decent flick. Gay interracial couple watching the original on a couch was a nice touch…
Drop the forced agenda and this is a decent sequel

Who are the trans? Saw the drag queens

Exactly. I tried watching some but turned it off. Just didn’t have any of the charm. Hollywood just trying to cash in on nostalgia again

I nominate this as gayest thread ever. Not because of the gays and trans in the movie, but because I see a bunch of grown men critiquing this movie as if it weren’t intended for women, gays, and children.

You got the children part right, I have a 9 year old wanting to watch this, despite the fact he didn’t know anything about the original much less part 2 until YouTube and his classmates got him. Are these two movies something a young boy would like?

I started watching it and was enjoying it even though I figured before hand the protagonists would be female centric with a know it all black main character, because of course it would be.
I was still fine with it, until I heard the word “patriarchy”. Turned it off after that. They just can’t help themselves.

How does this equate to the forced trans or gays in the show? Gays only watch shows with trans or gays?

Holy hell that was a slog to get through.
My favorite part were the young Sandersons and my second favorite part were the old Sandersons. Billy was pretty good but every other character was soulless and the "jokes" were over explained.

Any movie made for gays is not for children.
