Top tier episode for sure. Definitely one of the best of the entire series for me.
Did Eve’s powers get weaker or something? I seem to remember that she was actually one of the most powerful heroes on earth considering she could basically control matter at an atomic level. Am I misremembering that? Because all it seems like she can do now is just fling flimsy glass at people. With the exception of the replicate brother guy a few episodes ago where she enclosed him in concrete, glass looks like all she can do now. WTF?

Yeah, she has been pretty dang strong in previous episodes. It definitely seems like she’s been weaker overall this season.

Yeah great episode. Dug the dragon prison break one too. Easily the two best of the season. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the voice of Conquest. (Badass villain name by the way…could he be Marks grandfather?)

It was an introduction for me. At first I thought it was a future Nolan. That’s why I really hope they limit the alt-universe/time jumping in this. Literally anything being possible, no one can die isn’t compatible with serious storytelling IMO. I’m fine with it in something like Rick and Morty. The amount they’ve had so far is enough for me.

They’ve technically always been weaker. She was implanted with a power limiter at an early age. With, finally, the arrival of Conquest, however, you’ll see some glimpses of how powerful she can really get under very exact circumstances.

Yeah without the limiter she is easily the most powerful being we see as she can essentially just atomize anything with a thought.
Eta: And eve likely is coming off weaker due to budget constraints. Lots of battles this season and it's much cheaper to animate pink rectangles than more elaborate examples of her power.

Agreed. Conquest was a fricking MONSTER. Holy frick. And just imagine Thragg who is way stronger than Conquest. Insanity

Just watched the finale... wow.
I literally couldn't take my eyes away from the screen for 25 mins straight. What's funny even when the ads popped up, I watched them as I was ready for the action to start again.

So Mark & Co. have a shite ton on their plates for the next season. Crazy how much Invincible has powered up since S1. I know Conquest kind of kicked his arse all over the planet, but just surviving someone that much stronger than Nolan was impressive. On another note, I got Cecil’s decision to use Sinclair to make the cyborgs, but not killing of Conquest is absolutely dumb as frick.
