There has never been a good conquistador movie - and we desperately need one. It’s one of the most compelling stories in history.

I absolutely love this movie and agree it’s one of the tiniest views we have in this era.

Honestly it’s not to be compared but the Love, Death, Robots episode of this ( absolutely fictional and supernatural) is probably the second best representation we have other than this movie.

There isn't an Apocalypto 2, not yet anyway.

Movie ended with the foreshadowing of the end of their civilization. There won't be a second one. Perfect ending.

Also, if you pause this movie's trailer when it rapidly flashes a bunch of action sequences you catch this cameo. You can't tell it's there unless you know it's there and pause/slow mo it. This was the actual trailer that played in theaters, etc.
