Because of the subject matter and this shovel faced harpy
I make the wife turn it off when I come to bed.

I haven’t watched since Joe left, but they weren’t really dicks to people, their pranks made themselves out to be the idiots. That’s why it works.

Pretty self explanatory.

Any Real Housewives of Potomac, Atlanta, you get the picture. I was subjected to enough of them to create an informed opinion. I have a "can tolerate" or, "it's fine," such as New Jersey, OC, BH, etc. (to view with ex wife without being totally distracted) view of most of the rest. That's a signal I'm going to bed dearly.
I got burned by liking TV shows like Jericho, unexpectedly canceled, that I just stopped watching almost anything until it was at least 3 seasons in. That protected me from pop culture for the most part (Lost, etc.) I still haven't watched most of those kinds of shows, but I'm sure I'd hate them. Once I identified the characteristics of shows designed for young adults/tweens (Riverdale, etc.) I just stopped bothering.

Friends, the Chandler character always annoyed me - never found him funny in the slightest, ruined the whole show for me every time he opened his mouth.

Halo
Bc it was such a slap in the face to the fanbase

Any NFL pregame show. I don't need 47 ex-jocks talking over one another saying the most obvious, trite shite. "If Denver can win the line of scrimmage battle, and not turn the ball over, I like their chances against the Raiders".
"Now let's send it over to our NFL Insider who looks like he has never done anything athletic in his life for some gossip/trade rumors/league office pablum that every viewer has already read about on the internet since at least Thursday."

Oh, I agree there - way too many people and way too fake - all the fake laughing and posturing is not watchable for me. I haven't watched one in years, I turn the Saints game on when it starts not a minute before.

I’ve only watched one episode of Friends, and it was the series finale. A girl I was trying to have sex with invited me to her series finale party so I was forced to watch it. It wasn’t funny, and the characters were annoying. Worst part, I didn’t get laid.

Big Bang Theory and all comedies with a laugh track. Once you tune into the laugh track you can no longer enjoy those shows. Guy walks in and says “hello” (laugh track). Live studio laughing like Seinfeld is a million times better.

Inwould love a show of watching lottery winners blow their money. The downward spiral of stupid decisions might actually do it for me in that case

Ha! Outside of Anniston and Cox being very easy on the eyes, not much of value for me in the show.....so I don't really think you missed much....but as I said the Chandler character was figuratively fingernails on the chalkboard for me every time he opened his mouth.

Was always on and parents watched when I was a kid in the 1970s, so I wound up watching it, too. It was also a thing in reruns after the 10 o'clock news.
I mainly hate it because of what it became by the end, a ridiculous liberal message pandering show led by leftist Alan Alda. It was terrible, they wrote up Frank Burns to be a patriotic conservative and so made him (and similalrly conservative Hot Lips) into philandering nincompoops.
They replaced Trapper John with the leftist Californian BJ. And every week we had that snarky, know-it all Hawkeye Pierce giving us his liberal take on things.

Frasier. It is the most gay show of the 90s despite all the characters being straight

Got too invested in it, but hated it the last few seasons.
Took him how long to read a fricking diary?

I actually agree with it all.
Except TWD I got thru 2 seasons.
And this..

Oh, and why? Because of it's soul crushing depressing tone. No serious focus on the actual event. Something like that should have altered how people view the world, each other, but all I saw was morose, bitterness and crazy cult b.s. Nope. screw all that.
