Wow. Didn't realize the movie picked up minutes after andor ended 
I guess I'm the last person to know.
They did an incredible job with that series

Show made me download Battlefront 2 so i could go help fight the empire.
Interestingly enough that was the only change they gave Gilroy for Andor, changing the frick the Empire into Fight the Empire in the speech at the end of season 1.
I do think fight the empire works better for star wars.

Haven't watched Andor outside of first 2 episodes, but Rogue 1 is the best SW property outside of the originally trilogy by far.

Hot take: Rogue One is made retroactively a worse movie after watching Andor. It’s still the best Disney Star Wars movie. But I did the same thing and watched it the day after finishing Andor and I was kinda disappointed. It’s just a series of events with no real character development or arcs.

Agree with this but disagree with the rest.
The purpose of the movie wasnt to introduce new star wars main characters (although it eventually did with Andor spinoff) . The purpose was to show how the rebels got the death star plans, and it did a great job of that.
We may not have got a lot of character growth but we were invested in the characters heavily by the end.

Oh I agree with your post. It was a fine movie. It just pales in comparison to Andor. I guess what I should have said is that after finishing Andor, it’s kind of a letdown. You get so much out of every person on screen. You almost feel like you know them. It becomes jarring when you immediately follow with Rogue One, and the dialogue becomes “This is a rebellion. I rebel.”
(I don’t even remember if that line is actually in the movie or if it got cut from the trailer, but that’s kinda my point)

Revenge of the Sith is a shitty movie. It’s boring and has atrocious acting. And even worse decisions on how to progress the plot. Who the fook is General Greivance?

I see it listed over ROTJ all the time and I’m legitimately baffled how anyone, even millennials, could think such a thing.

Was crazy how tight lipped the Death Star was the entire way through
But there were some small nibbles of info in season 1 like the mass of materials off Scarif

Dude you need to give Andor a chance, that series and rouge 1 is the best SW content since the OG trilogy.

A hot take is something that's actually a really good and logical take, but just really unpopular.
