Every score that comes out of Remote Control sounds damn near exactly the same.

Nah, they do. They have a formula and they stick to it. They are like Creed or country pop. It's all the same thing over and over w/very slight variations. They are just as cut and paste as Micheal Bay when it comes to reusing old work.

I used to abuse this soundtrack when I was studying for finals in the library.

What I would give for Hollywood to return to original epics like this one. In my top 5 favorites of all time.

The whole ending sequence when he dies is chillbump inducing..

“He was a soldier of Rome, honor him.”

One of the best movies to watch by yourself with the surround system cranked up

What is more interesting is how Proxmio died in real life.

Sadly, the sequel was pretty bad. Not anywhere near the first film.

This one was a bit too self indulgent for me. I love a bit more humility from characters seeking revenge.

I can imagine his wife and son taking issue with being listed after his boss and job title. He actually listed his caring in rank order. THAT is why she got raped and murdered. Then again it would not have been as good of a movie if he was truly a “family comes first” kind of guy.

And if he was a true family man, he would not have had a side piece who failed to abort his bastard child…and then we would not have had such a shitty sequel.

So I’m obviously conflicted and should refrain from overthinking cool speeches in works of fiction.

I was in highschool when it was in theaters.

One day a kid came in to our AP Ancient History class and said he had burned a boot leg copy.

Our teacher said “sure, why not” and we spent the next few days watching it in class.

Russell Crowe just sold a bunch of props from that movie for a chunk of money.

If any of it was costumes he wore in the film, I can understand that since he's blown up to Biblical proportions and would NEVER get his fat arse in any of them again.

It is one of my top movies. I love movies with great impactful music. That movie has it. One of the movies where I crank up the system.

And you know this how?[/quote]Because, dammit!

Like I mentioned in the beginning of this thread, they changed some of the colors widely accepted to be accurate, to a brighter color because it looked better on screen.

Crazy enough, I read that post and upvoted, because I agreed with it. Then I saw it was my old post lol
