can't watch this shite anymore
I worked in west Texas in "The Patch" way back in my college summers so I was enjoying the show.
But The Pirate Dinner was too much
The show would be better without the annoying wife/daughter and their stupid scenes

He did brag on how it only took 3'15" to make the drive.

I literally looked down and shook my head when I saw the preview of "pirate dinner" and during the episode when the hot 20-someting neighbor was getting to know the old geezer rhrough the fence...."dear god do not let this happen to this fkn character"

Sam is a suave MF even at his advanced age.

Dinner has been a thing in every episode and y’all complain like it’s some new revelation.
Enjoy the show for what it is and stop acting like you own Rotten Tomatoes

Landman isnt prestige TV
Its just a fun show with billy bob going around doing ridiculous stuff and dropping 1 liners. Same as tulsa king with Stallone.

I liked this episode. T.L., at the old folks home, just sat in a chair and stared at the rocks in the distance. Now he has a buddy and that made him smile.

Also having Ali and the daughter around makes him happy.

I could have sworn that in an earlier episode they acted like she was an awful cook and dinner's always a disaster. Then this episode was more like, "She's a gourmet cook and amazing party planner." Maybe it wasn't saying she's a bad cook in earlier episodes... just that she was cooking stuff too fancy for the oil dudes holed up in the house... but I swear I remember them acting like her food was inedible.
Anyway... the whole pirate party shite seemed so out of place to me. Imean, I guess it's a feel good moment and such, but it just seemed out of theme from the rest of the show.

She was trying to make shite that was over her head and wasn’t to their palettes.
She’s out here making a whole paella when they would be fully satisfied with tacos and burritos

Landman officially sucks now. Do the creators think we watched the show for the family stuff? Wtf. Get to the oil,oil business, and cartel shite.

Every episode is just something bad happening, Death, wreck, spill, gas leak, and then Billy bob saves the day....
In between its just his annoying (hot) Wife and (hot) daughter with the filler content
Show had potential, I don't like the way this season has unfolded!

Reminded me of a duck dynasty ending, but dressed like pirates.

Sounds like we about to see Billy bob go offshore.
